I love this restaurant! The staff is always so polite and service is quick. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for good teriyaki 10/10

Best sushi I've ever had and the teriyaki chicken is amazing! The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food came out 5 minutes after ordering! Definitely a 10/10 place to eat, nice little small restaurant. Food was definitely fair priced for the quality! Highly recommend

All the staff were so friendly! My family and I came for dinner after going to Apple Hill. They seated us right away. The menu was extensive and there were also special offers on whiteboards as well. We ordered a few bentos and rolls which came out delicious and fresh! To our surprise, our server brought out a slice of cake for my mother in law at the end of our meal! We were surprised especially because it was coincidentally her birthday. They brought out extra treats for the rest of our party after the best "happy birthday" performance by staff - they had disco lights and tambourines! We had an amazing time and felt like this was such a unique experience. Next time I'm passing through on a road trip to Tahoe, I am definitely stopping by again!

Our favorite sushi in the foothills after wine tasting. Won't be disappointed! The sushi chefs and staff are all so friendly as if you're family or friends. They take pride in service and quality. Cheers!

Good for where it is located, a bit expensive for the quality though. But the service was great, they even gave my friends and I each a free shot of their house made pineapple liquor which was awesome. Not the typical looking Japanese restaurant but we had a nice meal.

Stopped at Shilla for a bite to eat before heading home from camping in Pollock Pines and was not disappointed. We ordered the Pepper Tuna Sashimi, which is a house special, and loved it! We also got the tuna poke, spicy tuna roll, shrimp nigiri, and one of the specialty rolls. I forgot the name, something with the word 'green' in it, and it had lemon on it - it was super yummy. Everything was super fresh and tasty. We also ordered a beer to share and it came delightfully cold, a detail that is not lost on me - so I thank them for that! They also ended our meal with a complimentary house-made pineapple sake that was a nice treat, I wish I could take a bottle home! It was a great meal and I would definitely go back!

Awesome food, awesome prices, friendly staff, and a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. SO glad I stopped in after driving by the "funny purple building" tons of time. It's now become a regular stop for me when I'm in the area! Come check them out!

A wonderful view, nice big spacious restaurant, good parking, easy access and SUPER NICE PEOPLE! The service was beyond great. The food was delicious and they have really fresh creative and delicious combos. They really know what they're doing and they make their own Pinapple sake that was delicious. They make everything hand made. We will be back soon!!!

This local restaurant is definitely a great choice. We went here for lunch on Saturday. Our group ordered the fukomaki and California roll, bento A And tonkatsu. The bento was teriyaki chicken, fried gyoza, and tempura. The futomaki was good and the California roll was well filled with real crab meat. The tonkatsu was a large piece of pork and well cooked and crispy. It also came with Some great tasting miso soup. The teriyaki chicken was well cooked and the sauce was ok. The gyoza was well seasoned and crisp the tempura was Crispy and not greasy. We enjoyed the food and will definitely make this our go to place while visiting pollock pines. Only got pictures of the sushi. The food was sooo good, I forgot to get pictures. Our server was nice and let us make some changes. The restaurant was clean and quaint.
